"Green Line Project chugs along in Somerville" The long, slow process that is the Green Line extension picked up a little steam earlier this month with the release of an environmental report. Although the report addressed many issues associated with the project, city officials and residents following the process said there is more work to be done.
STEP brought together transportation advocates from Somerville, Cambridge and Medford to thank outgoing MA Secretary of Transportation James Aloisi for his good work. Speakers include Ellin Reisner, Sen. Pat Jehlen, Ken Krause, Mike Lambert, Mark Jacquith, Wig Zamore, and Secretary Aloisi.
